Members provide checks and balances and has final decision making power on the direction and activities of BWC. Those on the Executive Committee have demonstrated commitment and involvement for at least 2 years before appointment.
The Work Horse of BWC
Members are creative and compassionate individuals who work together to identify programs or ideas to implement and/or expand. Currently, there are 2 focus areas of work: food access and chronic disease management.
The Chronic Disease work group meets the second Wednesday of each month from 2:30 – 4:00pm.
The Food Access work group meets the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 – 11:30am.
