2nd Lunch & Learn scheduled with area food pantries

In October 2018, 20 people representing 8 area food pantries attended BWC’s first Lunch & Learn to discuss ways to promote and encourage healthy eating among clients. Since then, the food pantries have banded together to launch the “Give Healthy” campaign.

On March 4, 2019, BWC is hosting a second lunch and learn to share the successes of the “Give Healthy” campaign and further discuss strategies to continue efforts.

If you volunteer or work at a food pantry, please join us! The Lunch and Learn is scheduled for March 4 from 12:30 – 2:30pm at the Cooperative Extension (Building N in the Government Complex) in Bolivia, NC.
