Know Your Numbers

BWC would like you to attend a free diabetes screening and education event on one of the following times:

  • Monday, February 4 from 9 – 1pm at the Leland Senior Center aka the Brunswick Center at Leland. 
  • Thursday, February 21 from 10 – 1pm at the Southport Senior Center
  • Monday, March 4 from 10 – 1pm at the Supply Senior Center, 

The screening is a simple, non-fasting blood test, obtained by a finger prick and will be provided to those who qualify (limited supplies: first come, first serve). No appointment is needed and anyone 18 and older is encouraged to attend. Educators will be available to answer questions about (pre)diabetes.
